I picked up the predecessor of this AF2-M, AF2, and have to say it's a pretty nice early PnS. Is the film advance noisy?

      You're bike?

Yes, the film advance is pretty noisy.
No, not my bike, mine is an old (82) Kawasaki.

I did wonder about the film advance. The Canon MC is pretty noisy as well and is clearly audible in the vintage Canon commercial on Youtube. :-) Maybe all that automation noise was a selling feature?

I did know someone with an 82....KZ 750 as recall, nice bike.
The other day I ran across some pics of the 2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster......Looks great anyway. Almost got a Triumph bike once instead of getting my ex-wife....Should have just gotten the bike with its lower maintenance and cost. :-)

Yes, the bike would definitely have lower maintenance cost, not to mention be more reliable. I have been considering getting a triumph, as well, just need to figure out how to pay for it.

I didn't remember you had one of these cameras. Did you keep it?

My Minolta Hi-Matic AF2 has a lever wind.

Yes, Alan I still have this camera.

That makes three of us. I need to dig that AF2 out some time this summer.
