Fernand Dubois (1861-1939) was active in the great Art Nouveau period round the turn of the 19th to 20th century. He was a close friend of Victor Horta, famous art nouveau architect. He designed decorative tableware, lamps, jewellery and small sculpture. He worked in bronze, silver, ivory. He was the author of about 40 medals and plaquettes.
