An inviting landscape

Walking through natural rock gardens into the incredible Limestone Lakes basin. Looking south, the deep valley on the left is the middle fork White River. The two dark peaks to the right are unnamed. This is Height of the Rockies Provincial Park in beautiful B.C.

Inviting indeed what an incredble place. It must have been a great experience standing there taking this all in. Fantastic capture.

Thanks Mandy. Yes it was, especially just as we crested the hill and caught sight of all these large alpine lakes of different shapes and colours lying 200 ft below set in their basins of rocks and grassy meadows. The picture only shows a small portion. Need to do some stitching ;)

Beautiful Steve. Would you recommend this area for a couple of coast mountain folk?

I most certainly would Greg. Go in in stable weather though (unlike us) so you can stay a few days and visit all the lakes. There are some nice hills around here that don't get climbed that much either.
