St Margaret's, Whitnash

St Margaret's at Whitnash sits within a rather cramped churchyard, surrounded by trees (making photographing the building tricky, but adding considerable beauty to it) and modern extensions (parish rooms south of the chancel, whilst the north nave wall has been extended outwards at some point in the 1970s/80s).

The church was so heavily restored and altered in the Victorian period that the 15th century tower remains the only substantial remainder of the medieval building.
