I've never seen myself as a 'domestic goddess' but I do enjoy cooking, especially when you can just go outside and pick the ingredients straight from the trees and ground. In this case I used almonds and figs from the orchard, and rosemary - all very idyllic. Cooking on an Aga oven takes a bit of getting used to, but it's great once you do, and so versatile as each portion of the oven cooks at a different temperature... plus it really warms up a kitchen with stone floors, which keeps the dog happy!
