The Eagle Cliff was a sleeper/lounge car built by Pullman Standard Company in 1948 for use on the Missouri Pacific /Texas Pacific Railroads Texas Eagle train. The line, known as the Route of the Eagle ran between St. Louis and Fort Worth. The car was retired by MP in 1966 and went into private ownership. In 2008, when the photograph was taken, the car was used on a tourist train run by Austin & Central Texas Railroad.
