Queen of Scots Mixte Bicycle

On permanent loan to Glasgow Museum of Transport from the Smith family. Probably the best Scot mixte bike ever put together. I suppose when your husband owned Rattrays his wife should have had the ultimate machine. It is certainly still a stunning bike. It was the first Queen of Scots to be built. The lucky lady owner was Lottie Smith, wife of the owner or Rattrays, Jack Smith. She was a member of the Glasgow Nightingale Cycling Club and a keen touring cyclist.

World champion Reg Harris visited Rattrays and, although signed to Raleigh, bought his wife a Flying Scot! That's how good they were.
