Scottish Milk Race, 1978

English rider Phil Corley is surrounded by a bevy of 'Pinta Girls' at the Scottish Milk Race in 1978. Phil is pictured astride his Campagnolo-equipped Holdsworth bike. The Holdsworth-Campagnolo team at that time was extremely strong and consisted of Les West, Geoff Wiles, Phil Corley, Phil Bayton, Dudley Hayton and Ian Banbury. Unfortunately the cost of running a successful pro team became too much and it was disbanded at the end of the season, with Les West retiring from pro racing.
