Beijing National Aquatics Center - The Water Cube - 水立方 - Olympic Venue for the 2008 Beijing Summer Games

Designed by Australia's PTW Architects, The walls are made of 3,500 "bubbles," each one a plastic cushion made from a see-through type of Teflon. The water cube will host Olympic swimming, diving, and synchronized swimming events, as well as water polo finals.
