403.303 was one of 13 heavy 0-8-0T shunters built by the Austrian State Railways in 1880-81. With the split up of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918, four of the class passed to the newly created Czechoslovakian State Railway and 3 of the class were scrapped in 1939 but 303 passed to a sugar factory where it worked until 1965 and was then acquired as a stationary exhibit first at Nymburk depot and currently at the museum at Jaromer.
