42" in diameter. This is an assemblage of children's toys - war toys, guns, Barbie-type dolls, Army men, etc. Commissioned by the Unitarian Church of Berkeley CA to "repurpose" these types of toys into a symbol of peace. Designed by me, the tail is made of guns and dolls, the body is tanks and figurines, and the wing is cars, trucks and more figurines. I pictured a Louise Nevelson sculpture when I was first given this project - where all there is, in the end, is light and shadow. The surrounding circle is mirror mosaic - unfortunately difficult to photograph!
