Who knew the skull-shaped rock was in Portland?
You know, the more I look at this, the creepier it gets. I was just messing around with a polarizer to see the effect that it had on the leaves in the mixed light and I looked at the LCD of my camera. "Gee, that looks like a skull," I said.
Then I got home and started looking at all the photos. "Gee, that REALLY looks like a skull!" Now I have trouble seeing the hill-side because the skull is so apparent.
This was taken just before 1:00 PDT on the summer solstice, so the sun was just about as high as it ever gets in this location. This hill probably wouldn't have this effect at any other time or on any other day of the year.
