Kusari-doi (Temple Daioji)

Kusari-doi (rain chain) is an ornament used by Japanese to collect water, transporting it downward with chains and finally depositing the rain water into large barrels for household water usage.

But, above all a kusari-doi provides water music which promotes peace and tranquility. That is why they are often used in Buddhist Temples.
