Just before sunrise, day after Hurricane Irene.

Directly on the Cliff Walk, pre-sunrise after Hurricane Irene came ashore. No power for 24 hrs. Just trying to capture the moment. The wave height has subsided dramatically, when yesterday afternoon, NOAA buoys at Block Island wre reporting 28 foot waves at 15 seconds. Yesterday the waves were seen as far as you could look to the ocean. They die fairly quickly when hurricanes come directly north at landfall, rather then staying in the ocean in a NE path.
