De Soto Hotel Savannah Ga.
The Hotel De Soto was a Richardsonian Romanesque style building designed by Boston architect William Gibbons Preston. Completed in 1890, hotel building took up an entire city block and was constructed of terra cotta, brick, and shingle. It was demolished in 1968 to make way for a newer building. This postcard is part of the Savannah Postcard Collection, MS 016.
