Parfait American at Sweet Revenge: cupcake + gelato

The Parfait American (cupcake/gelato dessert) at NYC's Sweet Revenge - a Pure (vanilla/vanilla) cupcake with mango gelato inside. Even after a gigantic Korean food dinner at Do Hwa across the street, it was AMAZING. I finished all the gelato, but not all of the cupcake, as I was super full. The gelato actually cut the super-sweetness of the cupcake, and since these are too big for my mouth to eat the normal way, having a fork was a welcome excuse. Excellent flavor combination, though I will be back to try more gelato/cupcake pairings. Well worth the $7.
