Clark's Nutcracker - Manning Park, BC
Stopped at the lodge in Manning Park for a quick break and to see what form of critters were hanging out. The trees were alive with the raucous sound of these mountain birds. This particular one is a juvenile Clark's Nutcracker. The pink gape or the corner of the mouth and smaller beak give it away. There were several families all on the look out for tidbits dropped by the visitors.
