Easily my fave photo to date, I think it'll be a while before I'm in the right place to catch another moment like this!

Winner of the 2011 Rallycross World "Over the Fence" photography competition: www.rallycrossworld.com/2012/02/26/over-the-fence-winner/. I was extremely pleased about this, as there were some superb rallycross shots posted on the site throughout the year, so to have mine picked out was brilliant.

Receiving a signed copy of the picture from OMSE team boss Andreas Eriksson: www.rallycrossworld.com/2012/04/08/over-the-fence-2012/. Was pretty much lost for words as this was a complete surprise, huge thanks to those at Rallycross World, Best Buy Racing and OMSE who made it happen!

And, finally, picked up for a long-running internet meme!

Excellent capture how close can you get for photography at Lydden hill

Cheers! I've yet to go to every circuit in the UK but, of those I've been too, Lydden is by far the best for photography. You can pretty much see the whole track from anywhere round the circuits perimeter and there are no high fences in the way.

I struggle with range on a few corners (I use a Canon 55-250 lens), but if you've got more serious gear (which I'm guessing you have from your pictures) you should have no problem!

    Mega shot of Bosse!

Thanks! I had been hoping to get a decent shot of him in action on the day: wasn't expecting him to put on a stunt show in front of me though!

    Cheers! Check this one out...

...it includes an onboard shot from the car: he actually changes gear whilst on two wheels!

Man what a shot, was there, saw it happen, gutted to be on the last corner for this. Hands down to you, one of the best action shots I've seen from lydden hill! You won the lottery withis this shot!

Thanks very much! I seemed to have luck on my side on the day, as I was in the perfect place to catch this incident, Chris Langley attacking the banking and Ryan Lawford rolling the Fiesta.

I'm expecting to have a long wait before I capture another moment like this!
