A classic point of view between Thwaite and Keld in Swaledale. Any of my fellow Yorkshire togs will have seen this viewpoint many times before and I present this one with zero shame. In my opinion, there is absolutely no reason to shy away from the cliché. Instead, if the light is right, make the classic image straight away so you can start looking for other opportunities. I would have felt foolish to pass this view and light by and now have my own version of the classic Swaledale view in my portfolio. Now if I can just remember which of my Flickr groups allows landscapes with man-made objects...
