Wallowa Family Assemblage

This is a part of my collection from "The first Billion Years," which is part of my collection of sculptures, "The First 4.5 Billion Years." It reminds me of a small group of lichens I found, glistening with dew, along a streamside in Wallowa County, Oregon, when I was doing field work for Harvard in 1991.
