    I spotted this fire truck along the road to the coast and i turned around for a photo. It was parked at a roadside restaurant near Elsie,Or....It looks like its from the early 40s and the make is Seagrave.

      Oh, oops----I forgot to put a question mark after the word siren in my note! I'm wondering IF it's a siren. I know absolutely nothing about such things----LOL. Feel free to remove the note. They can be irritating for viewing!

      Nice shot. This style is the "70th Anniversary" which began production in 1951 and continued into 1970. Sometime in 1958, four headlights were added and the fender was changed to flat top. This truck was built between 1951-58.
