that is so amazing, if I hadn't come from the blog I would think that the picture was of someones installation art! amazing, how does the grass do that?

Amazing how the grass lifted up with the tree. I expected the storm to be so much worse here in the mountains, but after all is said and done, we actually have less snow than before and little flooding. Our power never went out either.

It looks like the tree has laid down for a nap, and the grass is a blanket pulled over it to keep it warm...

this so sad and amazing. but there is something beautiful about the way the grass and earth looks draped over the trees roots like a christmas tree skirt. i'm sure it's terrifying in real life though.

My comment cannot be anything near as amazing as this photo nor how Mother Nature or God rules over us!

that is totally weird. i had to look at it a long time before i realized just what was going on. it looks like carpet. and i couldn't figure out it would be outside like that.
