Eastern Curlew

Species shots. These birds seem to be the beach equivalent of neighbourhood-watch. I'm finding they're quite wary and will sound an alarm call as soon as you're within sight of them. Fortunately I've also noticed a lot of bird species just ignore the alarm calls.
