Tunisia-4674 - Tunis Medina

The medina is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It began in the 7th century and has been the focal point of the city until the French arrived and built the Ville Nouvelle (new city). This was a really crowded place and after starting down the narrow streets I just turned around and left.

 

Stopped in the area to get something to eat and to look around for couple of hours.
