Do you know of Persephone Books? They're a British publishing house that rediscovers and reprints out of print titles, most originally written by and/or for women. I first learned about them from this remarkable woman. Unfortunately, they don't have an American outpost, so you have to buy their books in pounds, which can be pricey for a paperback. But, on the flipside, you do get an overseas package stamped Royal Mail.
The books are lovely. They use prints of vintage fabrics as endpapers and for the matching bookmarks that come with every purchase.
And they are the prettiest gray . . . for sixty-four colors.
