Rouen cathedral panorama, France

    Newer Older

Panorama of the inside of the Rouen cathedral.
I used 13 pictures taken with a Pentax K10d, stitched with Hugin, plus several hours of work with Photoshop (mainly to correct stiching errors, since this is a handeld panorama). Best viewed large.

xdrei [十三] : I tried to avoid one of the drawbacks of panoramic pictures, which can highly reduce the impression of hugeness, especially with equirectangular transformation, that suppresses the verticality.
      Apparently it's not enough...

i like it, but it's just not great enough.

Pretty impressive. This was fun to explore at original, and the medium/large sizes have a really pleasing exposure range. I think the panoramic method you used actually did give you a bit of HDR when you stitched it all together.

Too observational for me... Feel like I could stand there on almost any day and see the same thing for myself... I don't just wanna see through someone else's eyes (unless they have x ray vision)...
