Exurban Homes – Exo-homes

    Newer Older

Wealthy 18th century landowners living in country mansions kept a townhouse in the city from where to conduct their affairs when in town.
Conversely, for those who lived in town and their affairs are a long distance in the country, such as farming and fruit production, they needed an exo-home, an elsewhere home to rest before the long walk home.
A simple, small structure, from ready field material provides enough protection and warmth while on “business”; a million star hotel in a clear night. Motorized trnasport and farming has turned this structure from a necessity into an abandoned curiosity.
