CDP1861 PIXIE graphics chip replacement (rev 0)
The RCA CDP1861 "PIXIE" graphics chip was commonly used on COSMAC Elf microcomputers. The CDP1861 is very scarce now.

This CDP1861 replacement board is inspired by the Spare Time Gizmos STG1861, but is not based on the STG1861 design.

This board uses a Xilinx XC9536XL CPLD along with two 74HC buffer chips and a voltage regulator to provide the functional equivalent of the CDP1861 in essentially the same 24-pin DIP form factor.

A round-pin DIP header is used so that it can be plugged into a normal DIP socket.
