White-tailed Black Cockatoo
Taken in the Stirling Ranges, Western Australia, much sqarking and nesting hollows inspection going on. I notice this one has a bit of brown on its back, so now another photo is IDeed. :)

The Long-billed Black Cockatoo, also known as the White-tailed Black Cockatoo or Baudin's Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus baudinii) is a cockatoo endemic to south-western Australia, closely associated to moist, heavily forested areas dominated by Marri (Corymbia calophylla).
The binomial commemorates the French explorer Nicolas Baudin.
