Cambridge Main Street Bridge (Cambridge, Ontario)

Historic two-span concrete arch bridge over the Grand River in Cambridge, Ontario. The concrete rainbow arch bridge was built by the W.H. Yates Construction Company Limited in 1931.


The Main Street Bridge was recognized by the City of Cambridge in 1982 (by-law 2225) for its heritage value and received Heritage Designation under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act. It was listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places in 2009. The bridge has also been listed on the Ontario Heritage Bridge list.
