Steamed shrimp & pork raviolis

here are the top 3 "best looking" raviolis (imagine the disaster)

i give you the recipe (from an old cookbook), it didn't work for me but may be it would work for you ?


*** Fillings : 150 gr skinned bamboo shoot, 60 gr shrimps, 50 gr minced pork, 1 mashed garlic, some minced coriander


*** Dumpling shell : 150 gr Tang flour, 60 gr boiling water


*** Seasonings : 1 tbsp stock, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, some sesame oil & pepper, 1 tsp corn starch + 2 tbsp water to thicken sauce


*** Method :

1) Sieve tang flour. Pour in boiling water and rub into dough. Rub into roll and divide into 10 portions. Roll out into thin shells with rolling pin

2) Dice shrimps and bamboo shoots

3) Heat 1 tbsp oil and saute mashed garlic. Add in shrimps, pork, bamboo shoot and coriander. Stir well and add in seasonings. Thicken sauce with corn starch liquid

4) Spoon 1 tsp fillings on each dumpling shell. Wrap. Arrange in steamer and steam for 10 minutes over high heat
