that is beautiful! What lens are you using? How much PS editing?

Actually this is just the Canon kit lens that came with the Xsi ... normally I have a Tamron 18-270 on the camera but can't find my lens cap right now so I'm traveling with the 'ole 18-55. Lots of post done on this one... it's a 3 exposure HDR run through photomatix, then into photoshop to boost the levels/contrast/sharpen then back into lightroom to tag and add a little vignette... seems like alot but all in all workflow about 10 minutes.

outstanding! Ive found the stock lens does great. How do you like photomatix? Ive been debating getting it. Which version do you use? Finally how do you like the Tamron 18-270? I just purchased the 17-50 2.8 and love it!

Photomatix is an awesome program ... I'm using v 3.1.3 but I've had it for over a year... I think I started with 2.0. Used both the PC and Mac versions and both run good. I really like my Tamron lens mainly because it really is a do everything lens . I wish it were a little sharper and a little faster but the VC works great and I've been very happy (just about every picture in the last 8-9 months prior to these pictures were taken with the Tamron).
