Bust Yo Scraps Quilt Along: Front

My completed quilt from the Bust Yo Scraps Quilt Along. All of the non-white fabric on the front of the quilt came from my scrap bin. All the rest of the fabric, including the backing and binding, was from my stash -- it's wonderful to make a quilt and not have to go out to but a single piece of fabric.

Title: "Bust Yo Scraps" from the quilt along of the same name from the blog justabitfrayed.

Size: 56" x 64"

Fabrics: Miscellaneous scraps of every description from my scrap bin, Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Solid in White for the background.

Backing: Random fabrics from my stash. See a photo of the back here.

Bidning: A white fabric with small coloured dots from my stash.

Quilting: A random, free-motion spiral using white thread (Connecting Threads Essential Cotton Thread in White.) See a closeup of the quilting here.

Batting: Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 Batting.

This quilt was fun and easy to make and I love the texture that the spiral quilting gave to it. I used the spiral because I wanted something interesting to be on all of that white space.
