I have been reading in the press this week the plight of the Black Rhino. It prompted me to post a second shot of the only Rhino I have ever seen close in the wild at the Ol Pejeta Conservancyin Kenya a 90,000 square mile conservation area. It is the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino. I have posted a shot of this Rhino a few months ago (see below) but from a different POV.
The quality of the shot is not perfect I was pushing the limits of the lens and the light was fading. In spite of this I feel very privileged to have seen the animal. We had spent about fours in the jeep looking for one Rhinos are surprisingly hard to find
