first dumpster dive of the new year! its a nice haul, but it could have been better had trader joes not put locks on their dumpsters! (that means no 2 buck chuck this time folks...) but anyways, mostly produce tonight. heres a list of what i got:
a bag of tangerines
2 coconuts (which ive never encountered before in a dumpster...)
10 organic pink lady apples
9 washington apples
2 red delicious apples
a bag of yukon gold potatoes
a bag of red potatoes
a bag of russet potatoes
cauliflower
a box of lemon tarts
a bag of organic lettuce
green onions
2 bags of avocados (which i love...)
and finally, 8 bunches of bananas, 48 bananas altogether.
so many bananas. i actually left a lot behind because i could never eat that many. even with my roommates.
