ROMANIA. Bucuresti. 2006.
In some places or times of the day, is necessary to improve photography in situations of low light. Someone refuses to work in these conditions, others try to improve themselves or just take it like it comes, others just love it, etc. At that time, I used to take my camera often with me, but rarely I went out with the only intention of taking pictures, that because my porpouse was to live my life and shooting from time to time, in any moment of the day, in any place, any cicumstance. Like in this case, I was waiting for my metro. In low light, with old digital cameras was necessary a tripod, but fortunately I hate walking around with it. I need my camera and that's all. There are all kind of tricks to get stabilization, like use a fix structure where to hold your camera or leaning the body against a wall or something close, keep your arms tight on the chest, hold half breath, etc. Of course the settings are also very important. This photo was took without tripod. I liked the contrast between the two women standing within the static, delimited lines on the floor, reiforced by the energy given from the train passing at high speed.
