This is a model that I built awhile ago but was never satisfied with, so I remodeled it. It is bigger, to accommodate to the amount of detail that I wanted to build on it. Like the old model, I included a Lego motor that uses a 9-volt battery to spin the propeller, at quite a speed I think. I hid the battery in the space right behind the cockpit. The plane has retractable landing gear also. I took many other pictures of the landing gear and the cockpit and some other views only to realize that all of them were blurry... so I will get those up sometime.
The hardest part of this build was incorporating the working propeller, having to deal with the wires and the battery, and the restricted space to shape the nose due to the motor block on the nose.
