hot pad front

I used pattern #189 from "200 Crochet Blocks" for the front, with pattern #157 for the back. I crocheted them together and then added a picot edging. I still need to add a loop on a corner.

This is really great! It's awesome how the solid back allowed you do the lacy front. You're super smart.

This is gorgeous, love the way the back is peaking through to the front.

Thanks! I'm amazed at how much crocheting wears my hands out! I must be griping the hook like a fiend!

Very beautiful...I also love your color combo. =)

If crocheting bothers you alot, there are some hook brands that have a cushioned area for where you grip...a soft plastic I think. It might help!

I've seen those in the stores and I some pictures (with them shown with pot holders) and wondered if they helped. I'll have to get one and give it a try.

I use the Clover hooks with the plastic and rubber handle. They are so comfy!

Adrian, good to know -- I'm going to have to stop and get one tonight!
