Hi, I'm an admin for a group called La Petite Galerie *** The Little Photo Shoppe (p.1 - c.2), and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Splendid scenery. Those horses enjoy very sweet life. :-) This image is a feast for the eyes. Thanks for sharing.

    Seen in my contacts' photos.

a super shot martin the horses add super fg interest and i love the touch of colour, shades of green and this opens up to a truly majestic landscape topclass expsoure, although i would like to see the horizon a litle more straighter

Well spotted Dee! I was going to fix the horizon but decided to leave it. Personally I'm not too happy with this one - played about with saturation etc. a little and I'm not convinced with how it turned out - if I'm really short of something to do sometime I'll look at it again.

    whats wrong with it?
its a story telling picture maybe a better title was jazz it up
the story i see its as if the horses made the trek all the way up the valley

Hmm I must try and think of a more dramatic title! Any ideas?

It really was a breathtaking view, one that I thought showed the Irish landscape at its most majestic. I just think that by playing around with it I've made it look a little too artificial (e.g. the greens on the slopes to the left).

Just saw this one now. Excellent shot - as DMull said, the horses add a real sense of perspective.

Trying to figure out whereabouts you took it from!

Cheers for the nice comment! There's a faint path that leads down from the back of the masts & cairn on Black Mountain, I followed this and met up with that broad track you can see there (there's another path from the side of the cairn too which I think may be the start of this track). It's a real hidden gem!

I know the track - just never followed it but must do over the summer..

I'm assuming this is the one. I remember this well. I think I may have been here around the same time is how I found it. It's deffo a cracker of a shot.
