UFV Business students win gold
Four UFV School of Business students travelled to Kelowna with faculty advisor Kevin deWolde, to participate in the Western Canada Business Simulation Competition. The team won the gold and several top individual awards, including top VP HR award, top CEO award, and top VP Marketing award.
The UFV team worked incredibly hard, distinguishing early on that they would be the team to beat. DeWolde called them a “high functioning team, efficient and seamless, and we should be proud of them.”
Although the competition itself is over the span of three days on the third weekend of March, the students have been preparing since February, working with business simulation software to develop corporate strategy, write a strategic plan, and prepare a presentation.
