From the trip to Coffs Harbour, shot taken from behind Mutton bird Island, facing east, out to sea.
Coffs Harbour is a beautiful location, located half way between Brisbane and Sydney on the NSW central coast.
A stroke of luck to get this shot, in a few ways.
One minute before this was taken Matt was standing on the rock you see in the foreground, yes the one that a wave has just broken over ... dam close...
Shooting seascapes is dangerous!

About Mutton Bird Island
Mutton bird Island Nature Reserve is the most significant mutton bird site in NSW, provides great views of the coast and a glimpse at close quarters of the life cycle of one of Australia's most interesting migratory birds. Thousands of wedge-tailed shearwaters (or mutton birds) travel here each year to breed.
