    Outside the Lines

one of my shots used for The Impossible Project's new exhibit in the NYC space "Outside the Lines"

one of my personal favorite shots for the exhibit. i feel this one really caught the dreamlike feel i was going for in some of my images. (fun fact - this was shot during hurricane irene)

What a lovely picture. Full of soft lines and muted shades, a mile from most digital images we live with now..

it is just amazing. I've never achieved such colors with IP film :(

thanks O9k, i get the best results shooting in indirect light or shade. bright sun on a warm day really washes out the colors sometimes. shooting earlier or later in the day, indoors (like this one is) or in shade helps. also heating the film by sticking it under your arm improves the contrast as well some.
