This is the sanctuary of the Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, which is located directly across the street from the State Capitol. One of the oldest churches in Atlanta, it was spared when the priest of the Catholic church next door interceded and asked General Sherman, also a Catholic, not to burn it on his "march to the sea" during the Civil War. The curved pews and Victorian-inspired decor make for a beautiful interior space. Much better details if viewed large.
