Not been shooting on the West Coast for ages due to bad weather and the cost of fuel means I can't take the risk driving down unless its looking really promising.
Wanted to have another crack at this wreck at Longniddry when the tide was higher. This place has been shot to death now but I still wanted a mono LE version when the tide was covering the wreck.
Sadly the weather wasn't playing ball as it started raining whilst shooting. I had to cut the exposure short and so this was way under exposed so it was hard to bring out any detail. The processing has been pushed to the limit so not the best quality but liked the mood.
Water was up to my ankles at this point so the wellies came in handy. Taken with the Sigma 10-20mm and then cropped to get closer.
Processsed in PS and Silver Effex pro. Wondering if its worth the upgrade to the new version.
Just ordered the new Hi-Tech pro ten stop (its maybe more like nine) as its cheaper, less waiting and the new version is meant to have less colour cast issues. Looking forward to testing this out and will post a review. After breaking the Lee Big Stopper I haven't been able to find a replacement which has limited my opps as I can't use my B&W ten stop on my longer lens
