Though the paint color turned out much more yellow than I had envisioned it really goes quite nicely with the countertop and floor tile. Before picture.
Mike complained that the paint surface was soft. Perhaps it is compared to the Rustoleum he was using, but it seemed all right and I would use it again. Apparently the other colors in this linseed oil line have a very rich patina.
On this trip I was able to fit the drawer I had constructed from scratch out of my scrap wood pile at home. The first time I brought it down it didn't quite fit so had to take it home and trim off a bit on the sides. I also went around replacing all the catches that were missing or broken. This attention to detail is just my speed. In the bathroom I installed the towel bars and TP holder, but forgot to take a picture. So missed recording the new tiling.
