Resident Professor

This Eurasian Eagle-Owl has spent most of his life in public service. He regularly participates in important education efforts at the zoo and with the community, which we were told is his favorite activity.

Eagle owls are the largest owl in the world and will eat almost anything the moves - from beetles to roe deer fawns. They can even capture food in mid-air!
