“Truth, like light, blinds. Falsehood, on the contrary, is a beautiful twilight that enhances every object.”
    ~Albert Camus

It's a beautiful evening that day, thus I decided to hunt for the sunset but when I arrived at the spot, the sunset is not as expected due to the clouds and I also arrived a bit late due to the traffic jam. Since I've already there so I may well go and shot something. So I wait a little bit longer and wait for the blue hour. Then I notice a little burst of light among the clouds and this might be it the shot that I want. Click, click, click, several exposure were taken planning to create a HDR image with little known what I've got of this photo.

Later on during the post processing, I decided to do a DRI image instead of HDR, which the DRI end result seems keep me addicted to it ahaha.. It seem's that I may got the trick and workflow to do a DRI image but still in learning process. Ok anyway, when post processing it seems that there are more colors on that image than I expected. So I blend it manually 3 exposure, some masking here and there and wallaaa.. this is the final image.

    Enjoy the view guys :)

p/s: Also meet a new friend while coming to this place. Unexpected result indeed.

So crisp and colourful... DRI always looks sooooooo much more natural than HDR... this photo is clear evidence of that!!

Is DMI the same thing as exposure fusion in Photomatix?

Mekasih byk2 Dato sudi singgah :)
Thank you Brandon, not sure about exposure fusion in photomatix, but DRI (not DMI :P) is also known as digital blending where we blend manually several exposure in photoshop instead of blending it using photomatix
