grandmother in esquipulas

Just as I snapped this a fat cat with his cell phone stepped into the frame. That's why the odd crop -- I played with leaving the cell phone intruder in, but it was just plain abrasive.

thanks for the great feedback, folks. still debating whether to get rid of the blue specs that show through the paint in the wall, per derek_'s suggestion -- any thoughts?
  • Duncan Horst 10y

I like the picture, but I would have given the women legs to walk on, but thats just me.

I like the crop and didn't see the blue specks until I started looking for them, I wouldn't mess with it, it's just lovely.
  • Farhiz Karanjawala 10y

well, you could leave them in and let the wall tell another story then..

very nice image..glad you cropped fat cat out!

king'76 I'm with you -- she had a great pair of tennies on -- but that fat cat obstructed those too, so they had to go. :(

I like this just as it is. This lady clearly has a purpose, and the crop seems to add speed to her step. Love the colors and shadow and -- well, it's a great shot!

I like the framing this way - great subject and i like the vertical bands of colour. I would have liked to have seen it straightened however, but then I go around straigtening pictures hanging on the wall even in friends, home. Excellent lighting - well done.
