Mountains in the fog

I spent the night in Valemount because I wanted to get good morning shots of three notable mountain peaks that this area is famous for (see map ): Mount Robson, one of the highest mountains of British Columbia, at 3,954 m; Mount Pierre Elliot Trudeau recently named after our former Prime Minister, at 2,640 m; and Mount Terry Fox named after the famous Marathon of Hope runner, at 2,650 m. But, as you can see in this photograph, I should have tried for an evening shot the night before instead; even at low light, it would have been far better than to try to shoot these peaks in thick fog. All three were completely socked in and I never got to see them.
