4am in a cemetery with a scary tree!

We got another dump of snow two weeks ago and I ended up heading out at 4am to try to get in a few last shots of winter. I've always been intrigued by this spooky old tree in this cemetery but have never taken a picture of it. I decided it's been way overdue so here it is. This is at Holy Cross Cemetery on South Park Street. There have been a few shows and movie scenes shot here too.
I hate to post a winter image in April and I would have posted it earlier but I've been away and just got back.

A dark night, the right lighting, and this tree would REALLY look creepy. Looks like great texture and shape on it.

I remember once when I was about 5 years old, driving somewhere in Germany with my Dad (who was in the airforce) and my Mom. They were talking about one of my Dad's commanders, a Captain Saunders. After I while I leaned forward and interrupted by saying, "Imagine when he becomes a Colonel?"

Fantastic stuff, and wonderfully SpOoKy. As others have pointed out, this would be pretty alarming to see in silhouette on the right kind of stormy moonlit night.

The scariest cemetery at night is Camphill. The large weeping birch near the summer street gate is large enough to shelter a study group. The camper down elms grow into twisted shapes that look like skeletons. Sadly the giant central Beech is gone courtesy of Juan. The cemetery is host to the souls of legit killers and some wrongly executed. It boasts thousands of unmarked grave sites, children, paupers seeking a home and even commonwealth victims of the wars. In reality, the dark roadways and paths lead the imagination to see figures beside and behind every tall slim monument and tree. Test your own courage. A walk through, sticking to the roadside, doesn't count.
